BMW AV (Audio Video) Interface Cable Upgrade For TV 

Our BMW  (BMW-UTVS1) system 1 upgrade kit incorporates a special plug and play AV interface cable that connects into your existing TV tuner. This interface will then allow you to install our UTVS1 digital free view TV tuner and DAB (digital audio broadcast) radio receiver along with a high gain internal glass mount antenna. It comes with a remote control and remote eye which will allow you to operate your TV tuner menu via your front screen providing you with digital free to view DVB-T TV and DAB digital radio stations.

Installations And Fitting Instructions Supplied

On Installation, the TV tuner and all cables can be completely hidden from sight apart from a remote eye (the size of the nail on your middle finger) for the TV tuner remote control which requires to be fed inside the car and can then be fitted anywhere up front say at the top left corner of the passenger door pillar, on the dashboard or above the rear view mirror. If you do not want to run the remote eye to the front of your vehicle, this can also be installed at the top / middle of the head cloth on your rear windscreen aim your remote control at your rear view mirror and then you can switch channels via the menu on your front screen. The sound from the TV tuner will be played as normal through your vehicle speakers.

BMW-UTVS1 Single Antenna Digital TV Tuner Upgrade From Love My Auto

This latest generation entry level MPEG2  (DVB-T) digital free view TV tuner comes complete with a plug and play single internal glass mount antenna.  The TV tuner Dimensions are as follows: 1401mm (L) x 90mm (D) x 20mm (H). Installation is straight forward with only three connecting wires: permanent 12V, ignition 12V and earth. The TV tuner has 3 x AV outputs for connecting to additional screens such as headrest DVD players if you have them. Antenna is connected via an SMA mini F-type gold screw in connection and the video and audio RCA cables for plugging into the BMW front screen interface above are included.
