I am pleased to say that we do indeed have an option to upgrade this Audi A4 Cabriolet and that this option also applies to the following Audi models with the RNS-E navigation system which do not have the factory TV tuner installed / built in:-

RNS-E Audi A3 2003 – 2009 Series 8P
RNS-E Audi A4 2004 – 2008 Series 8E
RNS-E Audi A6 2001 – 2005 Series 4B
RNS-E Audi TT  2006 – 2010 Series 8J

The RNS-E navigation system required for this digital TV tuner add-on, is called “Audi Navigation Plus” and can be identified by the two (2) SD Card slots situated behind the fold down monitor.

AUD-RNS-E-OEM-Without Factory TV-Digital TV Add On: £548.00 + Installation

This Audi digital TV package will compose of a hide away (vehicle specific) twin executive TV tuner, vehicle plug and play interface harness (no cutting of wires or cables) and 2 x  internal glass mount antennas which will integrate seamlessly with your vehicle and be fully controllable via your current OEM buttons. Our OEM add on digital TV solution, will provide you with TV on the move / video in motion for passenger use, and includes a separate remote eye and remote control which will enable you to operate additional functions such as teletext via your TV tuner module and your on dash screen.

Your price for the product will be £548.00 + shipping (£2.99 or £7.98 Next Day Delivery) including Vat. Installation would take around 2-3 hours hrs. and would cost £140.00 + Vat or £140.00 cash. Apart from the glass mount aerials, there will be no cables visible after the install is completed. Local installation can be arranged either at your place of work or at home.

Please note that you will have to select your AV1 (TV Mode) channel on your front screen to bring up the rear view camera picture, this will not switch automatically.
