If your children are of a different age or size, each monitor pod has a two-way up and down tilt mechanism to angle the screens directly towards them. If one or more of your children do not feel comfortable wearing headphones, you can have the sound played through the vehicle speakers by pressing a button on the monitor which will transfer the sound via a built-in FM modulator through your vehicle radio.

For those of you who have an existing analogue OEM Factory TV tuner installed into your vehicle and you are looking to upgrade this to digital DVB-T, here at Love My Auto, we have developed an OEM style vehicle specific phantom (hide away) digital TV antenna aerial solution to avoid the use of internal glass mount or external mag mount aerials.
Connect To Your Factory Fit TV Aerials
If you are looking to add a digital DVB-T TV tuner to upgrade your vehicles analogue TV system and you wish to utilise your existing factory TV aerials and antennas, our vehicle specific phantom antennas will enable you to connect directly onto your existing car TV aerial loom and then connect to your new digital TV tuner for best reception purposes and will avoid the use of ugly and visible alternative aerials.
A Twin Diversity TV tuner Is Best
As your existing car factory fit TV aerials have at least two aerial inputs, we would highly recommend that you consider purchasing a twin diversity digital DVB-T TV tuner that has two TV tuners and two antenna inputs to take full advantage of your vehicles aerial loom. If you have a single aerial input TV tuner, we can also provide a single phantom antenna for this but, the performance will depend on the strength / weakness of the local digital TV signals in your local area.
Where Do I Install My Phantom Antennas
As our Phantom antennas are designed to fit onto your existing factory aerial loom which will be attached to your factory TV tuner, you will require to install your new digital TV tuner alongside the existing factory TV tuner as our (vehicle specific) phantom extension cables are only 15cm long. Most Digital DVB-T TV tuners these days are small enough to allow for this and we have yet to encounter a problem in doing so.
Will These Phantom Antennas Connect To My New Digital TV Tuner
Our phantom aerials come with a standard 10mm F-Type screw-in (Male) connection which is an industry standard for twin diversity TV tuner receivers, we can however supply our Phantom aerials with either a gold (6.5mm) SMA male screw-in adaptor or normal coaxial TV male adaptor, please select the option that you require on our phantom product web page.
What Cars Will Accept The Phantoms Aerials
As our hideaway antennas are in the early stages of development, there are a number of vehicles that we have still to check for compatibility. The main vehicles covered to-date are Audi, BMW 2008 or earlier, MG’s, Range Rover and Rover 75. We are currently developing a solution for Mercedes vehicles which have 4 x aerial inputs on the existing Factory TV loom. If you have a different vehicle to those above, we would love for you to act as a guinea pig to test our hideaway aerials and report back to us accordingly – you have our money back guarantee (please see below) should they not be compatible.
